Boechera stricta (Graham) Al-Shehbaz
A common species in high-elevation meadows in the northwest corner of New Mexico, formerly known as B. drummondii. This species is most readily recognized by its erect fruits, which are appressed to the rachis. B. stricta occasionally hybridizes with B. fendleri, yielding plants that may be confused with B. divaricarpa, an apomictic hybrid between B. stricta, B. sparsiflora, and B. retrofracta that does not occur in New Mexico.
